Ryde Baseball Club are excited to announce the appointment of our Women’s Development Coach for season 2024/25 Ashleigh Ross
Ashleigh started her playing career for the Berowra Comets at the age of 6, who later merged to form the Rangers Baseball Club. She played every season of juniors including representative teams for Ryde going on to play in the Women’s League for over 15 years and in the National Women’s Championships from 2004-2011 .
Her coaching career began whilst still playing representative baseball before moving away from playing to focus on coaching with roles in State Cup, Roos World Boys, NSW Women’s Baseball League, Australian Phoenix Cup and NSW Youth Women’s teams.
She plans to share her wealth of experience with up and coming female players for the Hawks and we couldn’t be more thrilled to expand our Women’s program under Ashleigh’s guidance – Stay posted for updates on a girls Winter Development Program that Ashleigh will head up during July and August !!!! We can’t wait
